1. 1. Product introduction
1.1 Name and Model: 36kV pole mounted metering unit OMW-36,
JLSZXW1-36 type combined transformer
1.2 Description
This metering unit is three-phase for outdoor installation. It
consists of 3 sets of current transformer and 3 sets of voltage
transformer. The instrument transformers are encapsulated in
casting cycloaliphatic epoxy resin (CEP) with excellent insulation,
and hydrophobic nature. Transformers surface is resistance to acid
and alkali corrosion, pollution, and UV radiation. It is applied to
connecting outdoor overhead line with utility company power system.
The energy meter box is beneath mounting bracket and cross arm. The
integrated assembled structure of MV and LV components has function
of anti-theft electricity, and easy installation. This equipment is
designed for distribution networks up to 36 kV for metering and
measuring.

2. Application
Pole mounted primary metering unit can meet the latest standards
nationally and globally (IEC,IEEE(ANSI),CAN,GOST,CEF). It is
connected with power distribution net three-phase cable for power
metering management and automation system, to get primary metering
more accurately. Thus, utility company will account power loss more
effectively and increase revenue.
3. Features
1.1 Metering unit consists of 6 sets of single-phase instrument
transformer (CT, VT quantity optional). Factory-assembled flexibly
and easily. The energy meter box is beneath mounting bracket and
cross arm. The integrated assembled structure of MV and LV
components has function of anti-theft electricity. It is able to
equipped with complete solution of mounting bracket and cross arm
as client offered pole details.
1.2 Metering unit includes energy meter box, and factory-wired with
instrument transformers before delivery. The box has space for
energy meter and telecommunication module installation, and
equipped with lock, door sensor, data DebugPort, transfer switch,
lock sealable for anti-theft electricity and unwanted open;
1.3 Enclosure made from stainless steel or equivalent material,
such as low carbon steel. Hermetically sealed design is waterproof.
Enclosure surface coating power is anti-corrosion layer, for
resistance to acid and alkali corrosion, and UV radiation;
1.4 Medium voltage combined transformer is encapsulated in casting
epoxy resin. Transformers surface is resistance to acid and alkali
corrosion, pollution, and UV radiation. With excellent dielectric
and mechanical performance. No oil and no need maintenance, safety
operation and environmentally friendly;
1.5 Current transformers are able to be designed with double ratio,
and be shifted ratio via a transfer switch. Voltage transformers
designed for anti-short-circuit and overload protection are
available, in case of blast or any accidents caused by those.
1.6 Primary side connected through cable terminal to copper busbar.
The terminal dimensions are optional as clients’ requirements.
Surge arrester, and complete cross arm structure are optional.
